How it Works. The first time a user opens the Kookie Browser they create a shopping profile. We call these profiles Doppels. Users can create any number of shopping profiles or browse without a profile (incognito mode). By default, Doppel's automatically opt-in or out of cookie preferences as the user browses online. Doppel's do not reveal personal information, like email and phone by default, but they do reveal interests & preferences that bridge the user's activity online. This aids online advertisers, retailers and brands that want to create a more personalized experience for each new visitor. At any time, the user can choose to reveal personal information in exchange for any incentive that the advertiser, retailer or brand presents. Doppel API takes the place of the third party internet cookies that are being removed from browsers in 2024. We propose to replace this technology with the internet's first 'user-centric' cookie.
