We decided not to build this product because after studying early AI startup entrants to the market we felt that vertical monetization will prove very difficult. We are keeping an eye on Mindtrip.ai and the chatGPT_Expedia & Booking.com integrations.

85% of the $leisure travel is with friends - and it starts and ends in group chat. Most young travelers spend about $25k every 5 years traveling together. The travel market is monopolized by two major companies - Booking.com & Expedia group. These companies primarily focus on incentivizing frequent business travelers that produce high annual LTV. Leisure travel introduces complexity and patterns across individual reservation types when friends travel together.
