The Parrot Zikmu speakers were designed in collaboration by Henri Seydox and Philippe Starck. As Head of GTM & channel sales for the ‘Americas’ I launched the product exclusively with Fred Segal on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles in partnership with Ron Robinson. The product was hand-delivered & setup for our celebrity clientele. Zikmu, meaning ‘music’ in the french slang urban dictionary, garnered the attention of musicians and DJs around the world - featuring placements in music videos for Lady Gaga, David Guetta and Rhianna.
Parrot, based in Paris, France originally built it’s specializaiton in technologies involving voice recognition, DSP chipsets for noise reduction, echo cancellation and and applications for the car, home and office.
